Perinatal, Trauma, Parenting, & Couples Counselling in Perth & Online Across Australia
Struggling quietly can feel exhausting and isolating. Maybe old wounds keep resurfacing, relationships feel strained, or the weight of pregnancy, early parenthood and daily life is leaving you overwhelmed and unsure where to turn.
When emotions go unspoken, they often grow heavier. Trauma, disconnection and unprocessed experiences can affect how you feel about yourself and those closest to you, making it harder to feel calm, connected or understood.
Compassionate, attachment-focused counselling offers a way forward. I provide perinatal counselling, trauma therapy, parenting support, couples counselling in Perth and online across Australia, creating a space where experiences can be understood, processed and gently transformed.
Meet Katherine Sharbanee
I’m Katherine Sharbanee, a registered counsellor (ACA) with a Bachelor in Psychological science and a Master of Counselling. I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals and couples through life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions.
My areas of focus include trauma, attachment and relationship work, couples counselling, perinatal and parenting counselling. My approach is compassionate and gentle, grounded in psychodynamic, attachment-based, and emotion-focused therapies. I offer a safe, attuned space where clients can explore their inner world, make sense of their experiences, and build deeper, more secure connections with themselves and others.
Finding the right therapist can feel daunting, especially when you’ve felt misunderstood or unseen before. I bring genuine care and sensitivity to those experiencing emotional distress, and I’m deeply committed to helping individuals and couples move toward greater wellbeing, authenticity, meaning, and fulfilment in their lives.
Offering counselling in Perth and online across Australia, I provide flexible sessions to support your emotional and relational wellbeing wherever you are.
